| WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE |

Baptism is a special moment in your life and an opportunity to share your faith in Christ with others.

Our next baptism is...

Coming Soon...

Our baptism will be held at...

4|12 Church San Jacinto, Courtyard

--------------------------------------

What is Baptism?

• Baptism symbolizes Jesus' death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:1-4).

• Baptism is a picture of your sins being forgiven and cleansed.

*Your sins are forgiven when you confess them (1 John 1:9) and cleansed by Jesus’ shed blood (1 John 1:7).

• Baptism shows others that cleansing and forgiveness is possible and it has taken place in your life.

• Baptism does not secure your salvation.

*But it does identify you with Jesus Christ and His church.

By being baptized, you are saying to the world...

“My life is committed from this point forward totally and completely to Jesus Christ.”

The seriousness of this commitment and the symbol that baptism conveys to those who see it is an incredible way for you to share your faith with all who come to watch.

What should I wear?

Dress in clothes you don’t mind getting wet! We provide you with an official graphic t-shirt. You should still wear dark shorts (you can wear a bathing suit underneath, if you would like too). Remember to bring a change of clothes to wear home. You will have access to individual bathrooms to change in. Please bring a towel! Arrive 30 minutes before the service is scheduled to begin for some last minute instructions.

How can I invite my family and friends to my baptism?

We encourage everyone who is getting baptized to invite their friends and family. Most importantly, this is a great opportunity for your friends and family to accept Christ into their lives. You can do this through a personal letter, FB , email, phone call, or a personal invite.

Make sure and share the importance of your salvation! Share how much it would mean you if they showed their support and came to your baptism.
